Here is a unique storyteller with a style all his own. Born in Pot Liquor, TN, where the only survivors had a sense of humor, Larry's personal and collected stories are for your enjoyment and his survival.

Larry received his Master's Degree in Story Arts from East Tennessee State University. He is  a member of TAPPS (Tennessee Association for the Preservation and Perpetuation of Storytelling) and the Smoky Mountain Storytellers Association. In 1996 Larry was chosen as the champion storyteller in the "National Storytelling Competition" in Hillsboro, Ohio.

Larry is a part time professional storyteller and has performed regularly with the Guild since 1994. He began sharing his stories in 1992 and tells Jack Tales, Appalachian Tales, Historical, Family, Scary, Original, Adventure, Sacred, Humorous and Children's stories. Larry has shared his stories at the "Crab Orchard Festival," as a featured teller, in Tazwell VA, at the "Smoky Mountain Storytellers Festival" in Pigeon Forge TN, at the "Roanoke Storytelling Festival" in Roanoke VA, at the "4th Annual Smokey Mountain Shindig at Stars of the Smokies" at T.G. Shepard's in Pigeon Forge TN, at the "TAPPS: A Reunion Festival" in Nashville TN, "Tellabration" in several cities and at the "Old West Dinner Theater" in Johnson City TN. Larry has also lent his talents to "Caitlin's Assignment," "Chiller Thrillers" and other special Guild functions.

Larry's latest award winning audiocassette is entitled, "Adventures & Humor".
